Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AIGen.my (“we”, “us”) builds AI systems for businesses and is based in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: contact@aigen.my.

2. What we collect

• Account data: when you sign in with Google or Facebook, your name, email address and profile picture from that provider. If you sign up with email, your name, email and password (stored encrypted by WordPress).
• Enquiry and project data: what you send through our contact form, WhatsApp, email or your dashboard: your name, company, phone number, messages, project details and any files you upload.
• Tool and chat inputs: text you type into our AI tools or into our website assistant, AIKO.
• Payment data: invoice and payment records. Card and online-banking details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

3. Why we use it

• To create and secure your account and provide the platform and its tools.
• To reply to enquiries, prepare quotations and deliver projects you order.
• To send service messages about your account and projects.
• To issue invoices and meet our legal and tax obligations.
• To keep our services secure, prevent abuse and improve them.
• To send marketing messages, only if you agreed; you can opt out at any time.

4. AI processing

Our tools and assistant send your inputs to carefully selected AI providers (for example Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI or Groq) so they can produce a response. We choose providers and settings that do not use your inputs to train their public models where that option exists. Please do not enter highly sensitive personal data, such as identity card numbers, health information or passwords, into AI tools. For projects that require it, we can run AI privately on your own equipment instead.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run AIGen.my, such as web hosting, email delivery, AI providers, payment processors and sign-in providers, and only as needed for the purposes above. We may also disclose data if required by Malaysian law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Transfers outside Malaysia

Some providers, including AI and cloud services, process data outside Malaysia. When this happens we rely on providers that apply appropriate security and data-protection standards, as required by the PDPA.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active. Enquiries we don’t proceed with are deleted after 24 months. Project and invoice records are kept for as long as Malaysian tax and company law requires (generally seven years). AIKO chat messages are not stored after the conversation ends, except in anonymous form for statistics.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing, or ask us to limit how we process it. You may also ask us to delete your account. Email contact@aigen.my and we will respond within 21 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

9. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage of credentials and secrets, access limited to staff who need it, private storage for uploaded files, and regular updates. No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the site secure, and a small number of preference and analytics cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

11. Children

AIGen.my is a business service and is not intended for anyone under 18.

12. Changes and language

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date. If there is any inconsistency between the English and Bahasa Melayu versions of this policy, the English version prevails.
